A Comedy of Terrors

God sends His powerful prophet to rescue people from real terrors. When a man was overcome with the terror of bondage, God sent His prophet Elisha to bring freedom to the man who was in debt. When the Arameans were overcome by the terror of blindness, God sent His prophet Elisha to restore the Aramean's sight. Likewise, through Christ, the ultimate prophet, God has given both freedom from bondage and sight to the blind and has freed humanity from their real terrors of death to sin.
