Vision

Chicago High Schoolers come to faith in Jesus (conversion), confess faith in Jesus publicly (baptism), and join a local Gospel-centered church before they go to college.

What will be said in 15-20 years? What started as an intentional citywide initiative to reach Chicago's public high schoolers spilled into private high schools,  reached the college campus, and eventually became the normal scope of local church evangelism and discipleship in the city of Chicago.

Our Compulsion

We are compelled mainly by two realities: the urgent need of the lost and the primacy of the local church as God's main instrument for evangelism. Specifically, Fulfill 606 targets those in the crucial years between a student's 8th grade and high school graduation. The world is in their pockets; endless digital clouds and artificial intelligence are at their fingertips. In this juncture between childhood and adulthood, the clash of mental and social development from the economy of attention-grabbing junkies. Actual intelligence and real friends will be hard to discern. Lostness abounds in a world of quick-to-find information.

Enter a local church with a nearby high school. It is the beautiful feet in that church which will go to that local school. The church represents a place and a family. It is the answer to the hopelessness that leaves distracted and informationally addicted teens bereft of a true place to belong well past their years at home.

Our Mission

To lead high school students in Chicago to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and then into a local church. We also aspire to resource local churches in adopting their neighborhood high schools, equip them with strategies to intentionally engage lost students, and encourage those churches to disciple students in their neighborhoods to follow the Lord Jesus as functional members of their churches.

Our Convictions

Fulfill 606 operates from the conviction that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is powerful to regenerate dead hearts through the Holy Spirit’s sovereign power into new creations. We believe that the proclamation of the Gospel (evangelism) by Holy Scripture alone is the means to bring lost people to saving faith in Jesus Christ alone (conversion). Further, we are persuaded that local churches are the primary embassies of Christ’s eternal kingdom and, as such, are the key stakeholders for the Great Commission. The end of our evangelism is expressed by new Christians publicly confessing new life in Christ through baptism and covenanting with one local church to continue in a life that is obedient to what Jesus Christ and his apostles have commanded.
